  • The most important need we all share is to know, accept, and belong to God. If you have never accepted God's gift of eternal life, take a moment and read this:

ACCEPTING GOD'S FREE GIFT OF SALVATION

God is holy and without sin. Every human being has sinned. Therefore, God cannot bring us to Heaven after we die. Instead, our punishment is hell and eternal separation from God. But God made a way to change this. (Romans /files/My Sample Gallery/crosses sunrise.jpg3:23)

God the Father sent His perfect Son, Jesus, to earth to die for our sins by taking on Himself the punishment for all mankind. Only Jesus could do that because He was 100% God and 100% man. But Jesus' gift of forgiveness must be accepted by each human by his or her own deliberate decision.  (John 3:16)

It is not enough to believe God exists - even the demons believe and shutter (James 2:19). Each person, to be granted eternal life, must do three things:

  1. Accept the fact that you are a sinner, condemned by your own sins to live forever separated from God.
  2. Believe that Jesus loved you enough to die on the cross to pay for your sins - yes, Jesus died for you!
  3. Talk to God. Admit you are a sinner and need His free gift of forgiveness. Ask Him to become the Lord
of your life for the rest of your days here on earth and forever in Heaven.

Once you are adopted into God's family by going through these three steps, it's time to grow! Pray (talk to God) and read the Bible - His love-letter to you - every day. And find other Christians and a church family who will help you live the life God designed for you. (Hebrews 10:22-25, Ephesians 2:10)

                                                             Welcome to the family!

If you prayed to accept God's gift of salvation just now for the very first time (you only need to pray the prayer of salvation one time), PLEASE email Nancy. She will want to rejoice with you and send you some information that will help you understand more about the results of your decision to join God's family.
